[Letter] 1859 Feb. 27 to [John Albert Broadus] / W.L. Curry. 1859.

Curry, a student of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary rebuked Broadus, his professor for a remark he made in class: "Considering the relation which you sustain to me as my professor, it appeared to me to come with rather bad grace. To jeer a pupil for ignorance when unacquainted with his past history, you know not but that it might be the result of unfortunate circumstances as well as of indolence on his part, in my humble opinion was quite unbefitting."
